We are the most diversified automotive supplier in the world. We design, develop and manufacture automotive systems, assemblies, modules and components, and engineer and assemble complete vehicles, primarily for sale to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of cars and light trucks in our three geographic segments - North America, Europe, and Rest of World (primarily Asia, South America and Africa).

Our capabilities include the design, engineering, testing and manufacture of automotive interior systems; seating systems; closure systems; metal body & chassis systems; mirror systems; exterior systems; roof systems; electronic systems; powertrain systems as well as complete vehicle engineering and assembly.

We have 242 manufacturing operations and 79 product development, engineering and sales centres in 25 countries on five continents as of June 2010.

Environmental

Our environmental program, as directed by the Magna Heath, Safety & Environmental Policy, focuses on maintaining a safe and healthful workplace and sustaining our physical environment.

Through regular environmental inspection audits and corresponding action plans for continuous improvement, we are committed to comply with or exceed regulatory requirements and work towards minimizing the impact of our operations on our surrounding environment.

The first Magna facility to achieve ISO14001 registration did so in 1998. Since then, our global manufacturing operations have been steadily implementing ISO14001; by the end of 2006, 175 of our manufacturing facilities achieved this registration.

We as a company are thrilled to finally be using a product that not only saves us money but also helps the environment.  Our Team Members like using the products and are engaged in the program.  Environmental issues are very important to Formet Industries/Magna, and we continually look for ways to improve our Environmental responsibility.  We have found that the Renew pads offer the same, if not better, absorption and reliability than the disposable pads and in the processes where its wet and slippery it offers a more slip resistant surface.
